Dr. Jamila Aman

Dr. Jamila Aman is a professor in Humber College’s School of Social Work and Justice and founder of Capacity Wise Consulting, where she supports for-profit and nonprofit organizations nationally and internationally. She previously served as Executive Director of the Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce and Northwood Neighbourhood Services.
She holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, complemented by qualifications in business administration, public administration, marketing management, settlement counselling, and teaching English as a second language. Dr. Aman has received numerous awards recognizing her impact in Canada and globally.
